visiting old friends
paddling new waters
listening to loons
sweltering and shivering
all alone in a tent
beneath a wondrous milky
wealth of star bright sky

all a bit strange for late
August and September
(usually filled with school)
but wonderful how
old turns to new
how connections come
about and grow
