Bodies three sit snugly
in the Widow Wyile’s red
hammock hammock
s t r e t c h e d
b e t w e e n
the spindly overshadowed tamarack
a n d
the mature mighty sugar maple
one wide big grin above the grass
swing swing giggle sing swing
Tamarack side sits a smiling Scorpio
who doubled the hammock’s name
in the centre one contented Capricorn
basking in young familial energies
by the maple squats a singing Sagittarius baby
contentedly scratching the folds of parachute fabric
Together they are a symphony of wonderment
gazing up into the sunlit canopy of greenery
yAh-ing and kNow-ing delightful absurdities
enormous joy of toddler jokes
swing giggle singing
rockabye baby in the treetop
banana!
again
rockabye baby in the treetop
sponge!
again
rockabye baby in the treetop
cucumber!
zim-zala-dim
bam-ba-zala-doooo
zalaaa tricycle!
on and on
sense and non
again again again
giggle sing swing
swing swing giggle sing swing
ever so grandly
voi-làaaa les trois
rocking in red
near the tree bottom
zim-zala-dim
bam-ba-zala-doooo
zalaaa glory!
glory sweet glory
